Where To Start

We've all been there: we decide to start up something new, be it fitness related or otherwise, and have all the intensity, drive, and excitement in the world, but then we realize...

We need to pick a starting point.

When I first started working out, I only knew two things in regards to how to achieve my goal:

1. Lift Heavy Weights

2. Train Hard

As you can imagine, that wasn't enough information, and it took a lot of trial and error to start seeing results.

When beginning training at Precision, you may be wondering: where is the best place to start?

One of the questions we get asked a lot is: How can I make sure that my process begins as smoothly as possible, and I don’t get hurt in the pursuit of achieving my goals?

The answer to those questions is simple: start with a Fitness Screening! The one hour appointment consists of an in depth and comprehensive process, with the aim of gathering specific information:

1. How you move

2. Why you move the way you do

3. How you feel during movement

4. And your level of control over your body while moving

In addition, the screening functions as a great way to get to know your trainer! You'll get to experience firsthand how they relay information, and get a feel for their personality, all before your first workout! It's also the best opportunity to make sure your trainer understands your goals, and why you want to achieve them.

After the Fitness Screening, when you arrive at your first workout, you’ll know there is no ambiguity as far as your goals are concerned, and knowing that your trainer has all the information that they need to set you up for success.
