Training With Precision

Hello again to my wonderful Precision family!! Over the past few weeks we have been giving ya'll an in depth look into our SGT programs. We've told you WHAT they are about and WHY we design the programs that we do. Today, I will provide the final piece of the puzzle....for now =). 

What's the point to having a structured and individualized program?

So many trainers/gyms can write up a great workout. The problem is that not many trainers/gyms can design the RIGHT  workout for YOU. What I mean by that is the fact that (like I've said in previous blogs) everybody is different. And therefore, EVERY BODY is different. You may have the discipline to consistently show up to class and your trainer may have the discipline to always have a workout ready for you BUT....Discipline without purpose is just pointless suffering. Your trainer/coach needs to know.... 

- What your goals are.

- How your body moves.

- Why your body moves the way that it does.

This is why having a structured and individualized program is CRUCIAL for YOUR success.

We want you to get so in tune and connected to your body that you come to a point where you don't have to question or doubt yourself anymore when asking....

- Are my feet straight?

- Are my elbows locked out?

- Is my core braced? 

The point is to get you to understand what those things feel like and become super aware of how your body is moving through space so that way you could better the chances of living a longer, safer, stronger, pain free life (wouldn't that be amazing!!). 

If we just told you how to move rather than taught you how to move, then we would be doing you a dis-service because we wouldn't be giving you the opportunity to feel your body and therefore become better. 

One of my favorite quotes (I have no idea who said it is)....

"Give the man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man HOW to fish, and he eats for a LIFETIME!!" 

Most people would say that all of the above training goals should be reserved for 1-on-1 training clients. At Precision Training, that is what we are trying to do with our SGT programs. We believe that no matter the price point, individualized, safe, specific workouts are not only necessary, but they are deserved. We want to teach you the how and the why so that you are put in the best possible position to succeed and achieve things you may have thought weren't even possible physically or mentally.

The more you move (with precision) - the better you feel. 

The less you move (with precision) - the more vulnerable your body becomes. We're here to help you feel the difference.
