Basecamp Nutrition Coaching: Is it worth it?
Hey Precision Fam!
Wade here 🙋🏻♂️
In recent survey of the Basecamp Nutrition Coaching Program, here’s what Pat Welch had to say when asked is Basecamp Nutrition Coaching worth it?
Is Basecamp Nutrition Coaching worth your investment of time, money, and effort?
Pat W: “Short answer: Yes! Here’s why.
It works. I lost 20 pounds in 12 weeks – and I was on vacation for 3 of those WEEKS.
Like everything at Precision, it’s all about me! We started with an in-depth discussion of my goals. Not just how much weight I wanted to lose, but how I wanted to feel, what kind of support I needed to succeed, what obstacles I might face, what foods I like and don’t like. Then Ashlyn built weekly plans just for me. My macros, my food – my plans.
It’s easy. Ashlyn does all the work – and believe me it’s worth every penny! The weekly meal plans reflected my tastes and my goals, but the best part was I didn’t have to think about what I was going to eat every day. It was all laid out for me, seven days a week, for 12 weeks. Ashlyn even provided a shopping list.
It’s delicious. I was never bored with my food and I never felt like I was “on a diet”. Instead, I was learning how to combine macros in a way that kept me satisfied while still reaching my goals. Ashlyn even incorporated foods I love – including pizza, beer and chocolate!
It changes over time. The weekly discussions and regular measurements allowed Ashlyn to adapt the program as we moved through the 12 weeks. If I was feeling hungry, she adjusted the plan. If I was “stuck”, she adjusted the plan. If I was going on vacation, she adjusted the plan. As I lost weight, she adjusted the plan. Every week was different – I was different – so the plan was different every week too.
Basecamp Nutrition is not like any other nutrition program (or “diet”) I’ve ever done. The time and energy Ashlyn puts into developing weekly meal plans is a big part of why it was so successful for me. It was also critical for me to be able to check in with her at a regular time every week, knowing she would be able to adjust based on how I was feeling or the progress I was making. The best part is that she hasn’t stopped supporting me just because I’m no longer in Basecamp Nutrition. In fact, just this month she did another couple of meal plans for me as I get ready to go climb a mountain. The knowledge I gained from working with Ashlyn, and the support she continues to provide, are invaluable results of having taken the leap into Basecamp Nutrition. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to reach their nutrition goals.”
